Sanctus | Vintage Gold-tone Miraculous Medal Necklace

Inspired by the famous Miraculous Medal of Our Lady of Graces. The Virgin Mary has her arms open, inviting believers to seek comfort in her. She stands on the globe, representing her ascension into heaven, crushing the serpent that corrupted Eve. The rays emanating from her hands represent her graces.

Surrounding the image are the words “Ô Marie, conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous”, or “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee."

A central ‘M’ decorates the back, symbolising the words “Mary, Mother, Mediatrix.” The cross rising from its top signifies the cross of Jesus’ redemption and the 12 stars surrounding it are for the 12 apostles.

Under the M are 2 flaming hearts. The one on the left is crowned with thorns, representing Jesus; and the right is pierced by a sword, representing Mary. The flames at their tops represent the love they have for all people.

This vintage-looking gold-tone pendant necklace for men is made of surgical-grade stainless steel, and so is the double curb chain on which it hangs.
